The Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology of Houston was established in 1957 when the nine founding members joined together to form a group practice. This organization was conceived in an attempt to provide the patients with the highest quality health care.
The Diagnostic Clinic is unique among large clinics in that its services are largely confined to the field of internal medicine and diagnosis. While many of the Clinic physicians practice within this broad field, a number of subspecialty disciplines are represented, including cardiology, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, oncology, neurology, pulmonary disease, nephrology, and rheumatology. Also represented in the Clinic are several specialties closely related to internal medicine, including radiology and nuclear medicine.
The surgical specialties are not provided by the Clinic. Many experts in these fields practice in the medical center area, and are available for consultation on request by the Clinic’s physicians.
The Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology of Houston is poised to meet the health care challenges of the next century!
